by Bagchi Law P.C.
Every company begins with an idea. Law gives that idea structure.
Ad Hoc Founders Counsel operating under Bagchi Law P.C. is a boutique practice advising early-stage companies and emerging businesses on formation, ownership structuring, governance, and the legal systems that support companies as they grow.
We work with founders across the United States and coordinate with local counsel when state-specific matters arise. Our role is to translate conviction into documentation, governance, and long-term stability.
The philosophy behind the practice
Early decisions shape the trajectory of a company. Ownership structure, governance, and documentation are often treated as administrative steps, but they form the legal architecture that supports everything that follows. Our work focuses on building that architecture carefully, so founders can grow their companies with clarity and stability.
Jigisha Bagchi, Esq.
Principal Attorney
Jigisha is the principal attorney of Bagchi Law P.C. She received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and holds a B.S. in Business with a concentration in Supply Chain Management.
Before founding the practice, she worked in secured finance and commercial real estate lending, advising on institutional lending transactions and collateral structures within a Big Law secured finance practice.
Her current work focuses on entity formation, founder ownership structuring, governance, and the legal infrastructure that supports early stage companies as they grow.
Admitted to practice in New York and Arizona.
